Heimbeatmung - Home mechanical ventilation, or assisted breathing at home, means that patients - we call them clients - live at home, and although they aren't able to live autonomously any more, they can decide how to organise their lives.
Heimbeatmung supports them in all parts of their lives.
Since 1999 we have been in charge of patients who have long-term assisted breathing needs. Our in-house team is very experienced and we have a very high quality of expert knowledge. This is why we exclusively work with examined nursing staff who have at least one-and-a-half years experience working in an intensive care unit.
Our employees are familiar with the medical and technical skills and they maintain up-to-date knowledge with a wide range of additional vocational training.
The security and reliability of home mechanical ventilation systems are essential concerns for patients and their relatives. To ensure the best possible care, excellent cooperation between various professional care providers is required.
Heimbeatmungsservice
- cooperates with speech therapists, physiotherapists and ergonomic therapists
- helps to find suitable doctors with the proficient medical knowledge
- negotiates with health insurance companies and other financial partners
- keeps contact to companies developing new, advanced medical products
But above all we provide nursing care, tailor-made for the needs of patients who have to be ventilated at home - if necessary on a 24 hour basis.
